About 1st Chelmsford
We started out in 1908 – the first Scout Group in Chelmsford, and we have a long history of supporting young people in gaining #SkillsForLife and giving them incredible experiences that last a lifetime.
We serve about 100 young people aged 4 to 14, giving them invaluable skills and unforgettable memories. Would you like to be one of them?

We have a fantastic team of volunteers who give up hours of their time every week to deliver a quality programme and help your young person get the most out of scouting.
