By signing up to our mailing list, you consent to us collecting and storing your personal information (name and email address) for the sole purpose of:

• Sending you information about fundraising events and related activities organized by our Scout Group.
• Keeping you updated on opportunities to support our fundraising initiatives.

We process your data under consent, as defined by the UK GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing from the mailing list or sending an email to digital@1stchelmsford.org.uk 

Data Storage & Security

• Your data will be stored securely and will not be shared with third parties, except where legally required.
• We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

Data Retention

Your personal data will be retained until 1st January 2028, at which point all mailing list records will be permanently deleted.

Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data before the retention date.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
